Spotlight: Country Club Life in Davidson's River Run near Lake Norman

River Run is located off Davidson-Concord Road, about 7 miles east of I-77 access at West Catawba Avenue.

Center City Charlotte and the University area are about 20 miles from River Run. 

Lake access is available at a number of public boat ramps, such as Blythe Landing Park and Ramsey Creek Park. For walking or mountain bike riding, 200-acre Fisher Farm Park is only a few minutes north of River Run. In addition, a 2.8-mile Southeast Greenway connects River Run to quaint, downtown Davidson.

River Run’s first homes were built in the 1990s and the community has continued to expand with the newest enclave of homes in The Reserve, which was begun in 2015 and continues being built out in September 2016. A total of 82 homes sold in River Run during the last 12-month period. The average sales price for those homes was $644,251 and $169 per square foot. Sale prices ranged from $404,000 to $1,076,828 and averaged more than 98% of list price.

Currently, there are 24 homes listed for sale in River Run. Fourteen of the homes are resale and 10 are new construction. Five are under contract as of Sept. 3.

List prices are from $489,900 resale home built in 1993 to $1,284,533 for a pre-construction home in The Reserve.

River Run is zoned for Davidson Elementary School, Bailey Middle School and William Amos Hough High School.
