And wouldn’t you know it, Charlotte was recently featured on Realtor.com’s list of hottest markets in which to buy for Fall 2023. They’ve even narrowed down the best week to make an offer. Read on to find out when it is!
While some markets are experiencing their peak buying time right this second, Realtor.com wanted to focus on places where you still have time to jump in the game. Data specialists looked at myriad conditions for every week of the year, things like: median home list prices; total inventory; number of days on the market before a home sells; homebuyer demand; and number of price reductions.
After compiling all that data, their list of best markets for the remainder of Fall is as follows:
- Louisville, KY
- Phoenix, AZ
- Charlotte, NC
- Birmingham, AL
- Buffalo, NY
- Tampa, FL
- Miami, FL
All of the above cities technically have differing peak weeks, but according to Realtor.com, the top 4 (Charlotte included) will see their peak sales week as Nov. 5-11. Looking at the compiled data, Realtor.com was able to determine that inventory during that calendar week surges 18% while price reductions hover at 1.2%.
