New Year’s Eve Party at Overflow 

Perhaps the coolest bar in Mooresville, Overflow is hosting a smashing New Year’s Eve party! This Dec. 31st starting at 9pm, gather all your friends at the area’s only self-pour bar. The walls of Overflow are lined with dozens of self-pour stations offering everything from beers, ciders, wines, seltzers, sours, and even kombuchas. Tickets are $50 and include hors d’oeuvres, live DJ dance floor, and a champagne toast at midnight. Did we mention they also have a rooftop?!

New Year’s Eve Fireworks Spectacular

If staying out past midnight isn’t your cup of tea, then join the town of Mooresville for their 150th Anniversary celebration. It just so happens to occur on New Year’s Eve and the entire town will be partying! Starting at 4pm, enjoy this family-friendly event that will offer face painting, a magic show, live music, photo booths, and food trucks. Plus, they have an early fireworks show starting at 7pm! 

Complimentary parking is available on-site or a free round-trip shuttles from Merino Mill (500 South Main Street) and The Cove Church (179 Langtree Road) will take you directly to the event beginning at 4 p.m
