Blog > Josh's Farmers Market

There’s perhaps nothing more quintessentially North Carolina than a Farmers Market. Getting your fruits and veggies (and oftentimes, dairy products) directly from the source gives you flavors that can’t be beat. One of our area favorites is Josh’s Farmers Market in Mooresville and we’re going to tell you all about it!
As you can see, Josh’s is everything you could ever want in a Farmers Market. It began in 1990 with two brothers just selling cantaloupe on the roadside and has blossomed into a daily operation selling not just produce but glass-bottled dairy, local seafood, homemade bread, and even Amish crafted furniture.
Like any true Farmers Market, they specialize in seasonal items. If it’s in season, they’re going to sell it. The fall season is rapidly coming to a close, with October 31st being the last day to get your mums, pumpkins, and Fall decor. Be sure to stop by this weekend before they start transitioning to…
Christmas!
The market carries a huge variety of fresh cut pine trees, live bough wreaths, and all the fresh fruits and veggies needed to create your perfect holiday treats and meals.
Josh’s Farmers Market is located at 170 Joe Knox Road in Mooresville. They are open daily as follows: Monday thru Thursday from 9am – 6:30pm, Friday and Saturday from 9am – 6pm, and Sunday, 10am – 5pm. (Please note their seafood shack does have slightly different operating hours so check before you go.)
