Laketoberfest

Are you looking for something to do this weekend? Look no further than Laketoberfest! Happening this Saturday, October 15, come on out to Bailey Road Park in Cornelius to enjoy the tenth annual celebration. 

This is a free, family-friendly event that runs from 4-9pm. Once there, you’ll be able to enjoy live music, beer from local North Carolina breweries, and a variety of food trucks and snack vendors. With fun for all ages, kiddos specifically will get to visit the Kid’s Zone with special crafts and games. 

There are currently 15 beer and wine vendors and 20 food vendors planned, so be sure to arrive ready to sip and chew. As far as the music lineup goes, bring a blanket or chairs and set up for the afternoon. The 4:30 musician has yet to be determined but at 6:30 enjoy accordionist Tim McManus and at 7 Groove Machine will be taking the stage. 

With free parking, free admission, and what has historically been a beautiful weekend, there’s really no reason not to attend Laketoberfest. Additionally, any event proceeds benefit Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists
